Security
Either as a business owner or an individual, there are many reasons why you should be concerned about your website, data and your computers and network hardware. The obvious reasons are dangerous enough - Viruses, spyware, malware, and phishing attempts to name just a few.
Sometimes the most overlooked form of protection is simply ensuring your systems are physically protected onsite. Most of the time, computer hardware is stolen because it's not locked down. At the very least, secure your laptop/computer with a cable lock, or make sure to lock your office whenever you leave, even for the shortest trip to the bathroom. There are many people that devote a lot of time towards defeating security measures, be it online or in your office building. Most all security can be circumvented, but in many instances, the idea is to make it so troublesome for any potential assailant that it's just not worth the effort.
Contact me for a free consultation. We'll discuss what your goals are, assess your current security environment, and then we'll develop a plan to address your needs. Whether this is for your home or office network, spending a little time planning can save you countless hours of frustration, not to mention the costs associated with lost data and/or compromised systems.
